Long Term Temperature and Rain Pattern for Robe (SA)

Since the 1890s, Maximum Temperatures in the town of Robe (SA) have risen about 1.3° C while Minimum Temperatures have risen about 0.7° C. Hence the Daily Range has risen about 0.6° C. Meanwhile, Rainfall has remained broadly steady but peaked in the 1970s and has since fallen about 10%.

We could not find long term data series for Adelaide and so we used data for Robe (SA) (64.7 kms from Central Brisbane) which will clearly not show city heat effects. There are a number of missing observations, especially between the 1970s and 1990s and so a graph is added at the bottom showing the actual percentage of observations available out of the 1 year or 12 year range for each average.
